Katie and Lee and met on a blind date, both never being on one before. It took them a month to finally get together. Obviously it worked! Lee proposed while they were snowshoeing in Park City, Utah.

Katie and Lee got married in Horsham, Pennsylvania at Graeme Park, which is known for being haunted. They’re both big history buffs, which made this venue a no-brainer. Sir William Keith, who lived in the 1722 Keith House, is from the same town in Scotland that Lee‘s parents are from. The history behind the house highlights a Patriot daughter marrying a Loyalist during the American Revolution. Thus, it made perfect sense being Lee is from London and Katie from the U.S.

When you look at their photos, you can tell it was comfortable and casual, while still maintaining the vintage, history-rich charm of the venue.

Their DIY wedding made everything feel personal, warm and unique. From the wooden signage and utensils, blankets knitted by grandmother laid out for the fire pit, decorated mason jars, corn hole game and so much more – the day was painted rustic with a touch of whimsical. Their good friends – Bill Monaghan, Katie McCool and Kylie Sheppard were even playing live music throughout the day.

It was a classy backyard barbecue affair, where family members whom live an ocean apart got together to celebrate Katie & Lee‘s shining love.
