Yesterday I drove up to Doylestown with my wife to meet Max Hansen. I hadn’t seen Max in 12 years since he catered my wedding. If you never tried Max Hansen’s food, its amazing. He is the king of smoked salmon. We visited a great new Buck’s County farm, Silver Buttons. We were blown away!! Thanks to the owner for creating an amazing new venue & teaching us the Latin names for every tree on the property, wow!

Oscar morning in Los Angeles, I woke up early and drove down to Venice beach. I was happy to see my good friend Emily Kelly who is the best wedding coordinator in the world. Jay, her husbands brother, was just engaged
and I was excited to meet them and create some timeless pictures. Thanks Colin and Danee for letting me get you wet and tossing you around in the sand. Emily thanks for keeping us moving along. Jay your guitar playing was beyond bad but it kept me laughing. Enjoy LA!

This shoot confirmed my belief that there is no stronger bond than that between a father and a daughter. While shooting, Mimma’s Dad (owner of San Marco Ristorante in Ambler) offered her an Espresso to keep her warm while we shot in the freezer. This one act made me take a personal interest in this couple. We had a great time capturing everything from pasta to train tracks.

Shooting in the winter is always a struggle. This shoot was so easy and fun thanks to a hat and a great couple. To all my couples, it’s all about the details. Thanks Lauren & Chris for trusting my craziness. Enjoy!
